Hello, I’m Edith Hixson, a photographer based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Photography has been my passion since 2020, when I began capturing family events, portraits, and creative indoor studio sessions. What started as a way to preserve memories has grown into a professional service built on care, patience, and attention to detail.
I take pride in creating a welcoming space for every client, including families and individuals with special needs. My goal is always to make people feel comfortable and celebrated, ensuring that each session captures their unique story. Over the years, this approach has led to heartfelt client feedback and lasting relationships.
Alongside photography, I bring a strong background in business administration and customer service. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah and later became certified in Social Media Marketing through Ensign College. These skills allow me to not only manage the creative side of photography but also handle scheduling, marketing, and business operations with professionalism and care.
Being fluent in English and Spanish, I connect easily with diverse communities and enjoy serving clients from different backgrounds. Whether it’s a joyful family gathering, a holiday-themed studio shoot, or a quiet portrait session, I approach every project with creativity, organization, and dedication.
When I’m not behind the camera, I enjoy engaging with my community, volunteering, and learning new ways to expand my craft. My work is more than just taking photos—it’s about capturing genuine moments that can be cherished for years to come.
